An illustrated historical children’s book series following the adventures of Ion, a young stable boy, and Prince Vlad, later known as Vlad the Impaler.

Combining imaginative storytelling with authentic historical backdrop, the series brings the culture, legends, and everyday life of medieval Wallachia and Transylvania to life for young readers.

Published in German, featuring the main book series alongside companion coloring books and supplementary materials.

Zolchow Historica specializes in the authentic recreation of fine historical headwear, regal bonnets, and bespoke accessories inspired by medieval and Renaissance iconography. Combining deep historical research with traditional artisan craftsmanship, every piece is handcrafted with meticulous attention to period-accurate detail.

Living History & Historical Reenactment

History comes alive through authentic representation and dedicated participation. As part of our cultural heritage commitment, we actively engage in historical reenactments, equestrian displays, and living history festivals across Europe.

  • Historical Cavalry & Mounted Reenactment: Regular participation in early 19th-century Napoleonic equestrian reenactments (1813).
  • Regional Heritage Festivals: Active involvement in prominent European living history events, including Schwedentage Rathenow and Fürstentag Jüterbog.
  • Cross-Border Cultural Encounters: Representation at medieval festivals and historical commemorations throughout Romania and Germany.
