Hoof in Hand
Inspired by the spirit of ’hand in hand’, Hoof in Hand creates uplifting, cost-free encounters between children and horses – offering memorable moments of trust, joy, and connection beyond financial barriers.
The Gift of Presence, Connection, and Quality Time
Hoof in Hand invites children and their families to step out of daily life and spend a few hours in the peaceful company of horses. For many young visitors, this serves as their very first close encounter with a horse – a safe, gentle introduction focused entirely on building trust, curiosity, and shared moments.
This initiative is not defined by formal riding lessons or performance. Instead, the focus lies on experiencing these magnificent animals up close: through grooming, walking together through the forest, or simply taking in their calm presence. Whether a child sits on a horse’s back for a quiet moment or simply walks alongside them, the priority remains quality time and creating cherished, lifelong memories.
History, Location & Contact
Throughout history, horses were far more than livestock – they were essential partners to humanity. From agriculture and transport to historical journeys, the human story was written alongside the horse.
Through Hoof in Hand, we aim to ensure that this meaningful bond remains alive today, offering children from all backgrounds the opportunity to connect with humanity’s most enduring animal companion.
Our encounters take place in the quiet, natural surroundings of southern Brandenburg, where our horses reside. Because this initiative relies entirely on the personal time and availability of our team members, scheduling is strictly limited and visits must be carefully coordinated according to our current capacities.
If you wish to organize a visit for a child, a family, or a small group, we warmly invite you to reach out to us. Please use our official contact form to share your inquiry, afterwards we will respond to arrange further details.
