Youth & Education
Cultural heritage unfolds its true value when passed on to future generations. Basarab Heritage is dedicated to introducing young minds to history through engaging educational resources, age-appropriate literature, and interactive living history initiatives. By bringing historical traditions and regional heritage to life in an accessible, inspiring way, we aim to cultivate curiosity, empathy, and a lasting appreciation for cultural roots.
A central, heart-led aspect of our youth outreach is the „Hoof in Hand“ initiative – a name play derived from ’hand in hand’. Rather than focusing on formal equestrian sport or riding lessons, this project centers on creating meaningful, uplifting encounters between children and horses.
Designed especially – but not exclusice – for children who might otherwise never have access to animals, „Hoof in Hand“ provides a safe and welcoming space to spend time with horses, build trust, and gain unforgettable memories. Together with our educational projects, it bridges cultural learning with genuine social responsibility and nature-based experiences.
